I saw the ground bot on Discovery Channel last night. Would you believe I had "dreams" about a year ago for something almost identical to this. It was for transportation though. I saw myself sitting in a "gyroscope" type seat while the "invincible ball" rotated around me through all terrain. The "ball" was dark outside so you could not see inside it, but I could clearly see outside it. It was the BEST dream I ever had!!!! I rolled over all types of terrain quietly and quickly.....I even accidentally took a tumble off a ledge....but never got hurt as the impact was absorbed somehow by my seat and the ball. I even remained upright as the ball tumbled down the cliff and then into a river! It was also "self-contained" with air protection/filtration from the outside environment. I entered it via a vacuum type door that was sealed...it lifted kind of like a rear SUV door. WOW!! Please invent one of these for transportation in my lifetime!!!!! And let me know if you already have...here is my email. I am a retired ER nurse and greatly admire you Swede's!! I drive a '92 Volvo wagon w/218,000 mi's. & it still purs like a kitten. :)
I had a dream about this too!!! It had me searching the web to see if we had anything like it. I saw the groundbot and it clicked. I hope I get to see this become the way to get around.
